The task behind the feature

When automation becomes difficult to follow

A long list of rules is hard to follow and maintain.

A long list of disconnected bot replies can be hard for staff to maintain and frustrating for customers to navigate. A visual flow makes the intended journey easier to inspect. You can see how a customer starts, what information you request and which step follows instead of relying on a hidden sequence of manual decisions.

One practical way to use it

Build the journey one connection at a time.

Start withOne enquiry from the first question to your team
  1. 01

    Map one customer outcome

Choose a practical result such as collecting an enquiry or directing a customer to the right information. Sketch the shortest useful path before adding branches, integrations or extra questions.

  2. 02

    Connect the available components

Use the builder's supported message and action nodes. Add an interactive form when structured answers are needed, or connect an API step when a separate business system must supply information.

  3. 03

    Test every route before use

Walk through the flow as a customer, including choices that lead away from the main path. Check main-menu navigation, missing answers and handovers so the journey remains understandable when someone changes their mind.

Configure the path. Test it with a real task.

Test each branch and keep an understandable route to a person.

Why this is useful in practice

A clearer path for customers and your team.

01

A process the team can see

The visual structure helps a business owner and a technical colleague discuss the same customer journey. You can identify unnecessary steps before they become repeated friction in real conversations.

02

Fewer disconnected tools

Combine supported messaging and data steps in one journey. External services still need a working integration, but the flow gives your team a clear place to organise the conversation around them.

03

A measured approach to scale

Start with the workflow that saves meaningful effort. Review real usage, improve confusing sections and add new journeys as needed instead of trying to automate the entire business at once.

Choose a useful starting point

Start with a journey you understand

  • A guided sales enquiry with a clear next step.
  • A form-based request handed to an external system.
  • A menu that helps customers find the right information.

A little clarity goes a long way

A little more about flow builder.

Understand the setup, the costs and the next step before you decide.

01Is this a drag-and-drop website builder?

No. The builder is for WhatsApp conversation automation using the CRM's supported components. It does not build your website or replace every function of your existing business software.

02Can a flow book appointments?

A form can collect a requested date and details. Confirming availability or creating a booking requires a suitable external booking API and a configured integration; there is no general built-in calendar promise.

03Can I connect an API?

Supported API request and response components can connect a journey to an external HTTPS service. The service needs valid credentials, expected response data and testing before customers rely on the result.
