The task behind the feature

When 'please send the details' creates more questions

A simple enquiry turns into ten separate questions.

A customer may send a name, date and request across several messages, leaving staff to work out which value belongs where. A form gives the request a structure. It is useful for collecting information, while confirmation of an external appointment, order or availability still needs an appropriate connected business system.

One practical way to use it

Ask for the details together, in a useful order.

Start withOne clear service-request form
  1. 01

    Build a focused form

Choose the supported fields and screens needed for one customer task. Use plain labels, helpful choices and conditional display where appropriate, and avoid asking for personal information that the business does not need.

  2. 02

    Publish through the Meta workflow

Save, synchronise and publish the form using the supported tools. Review validation feedback and the selected WhatsApp setup so a local draft is not confused with a published form the customer can actually open.

  3. 03

    Use the submitted answers

Capture submissions in the workspace, export supported data or connect the form to a configured HTTPS API or Google Sheets workflow. Continue the automation with the returned response when an external system supplies the next result.

Make the handoff useful.

Review the fields and test a real submission before connecting the next action.

Why this is useful in practice

A structured response for the task ahead.

01

Less message-by-message clarification

A structured form asks for the required details in a consistent order. Staff spend less effort matching scattered answers and can focus on whether the customer's request can be fulfilled.

02

A simpler customer input process

Customers can provide supported information inside WhatsApp rather than following an unrelated chain of instructions. Keep the form short enough that it helps the task instead of becoming another obstacle.

03

A bridge to your existing systems

Supported submission delivery can connect the request to an external workflow. The form collects information; the integrated service must still validate availability, complete a booking or perform another consequential business action.

Choose a useful starting point

Requests that benefit from a short form

  • Collect a service enquiry with the relevant preferences.
  • Gather a requested appointment date for later confirmation.
  • Send supported form answers to a configured business API.

A little clarity goes a long way

A little more about interactive forms.

Understand the setup, the costs and the next step before you decide.

01Is there a built-in appointment calendar?

This feature builds static Meta WhatsApp Flows and captures submissions. A confirmed booking or live availability check requires an appropriate external booking API and a tested automation connection.

02Can submissions go to Google Sheets?

The module includes optional Google Sheets append support using configured service-account credentials. Your business must set up access and test the destination, while handling customer data according to its privacy obligations.

03Can the form show different fields based on an answer?

Supported field-level conditional display rules are available. The builder validates the supported expressions; not every field type can be compared in the same way, so follow the available configuration guidance.
