The task behind the feature

When one business grows beyond one line

Chats from two branches should not become one guessing game.

A second number should solve a business problem, not create another isolated inbox. When a customer knows your support number, a reply from an unrelated sales line can be confusing. Multi-number management helps your team keep conversations attached to the correct business connection, without treating every number as the same sender.

See how the pieces fit

One practical way to use it

Keep the branch number in every step.

Start withOne enquiry to the right branch
  1. 01

    Connect the numbers you need

Add eligible WhatsApp Business Platform connections within your plan's number allowance. Give each connection a recognisable identity so staff can distinguish a branch, department or customer-facing business line.

  2. 02

    Choose the working context

Select the number you want to work with in the CRM. Review the conversation's connection before sending, especially when the same customer has contacted more than one business number.

  3. 03

    Build around separate journeys

Use the appropriate number for campaigns and customer replies. Keep your internal process clear about who owns each line and when a customer should be directed to a different department.

Keep the next person in the picture.

Confirm the selected sending number before your team replies.

Why this is useful in practice

Separate numbers. Clearer customer context.

01

Fewer sender mistakes

Staff can understand which business identity a customer contacted. Explicit number selection supports clearer replies and reduces the confusion that happens when one default sender is used for every situation.

02

One place for everyday work

Keep the convenience of a central CRM while serving more than one line. Your team spends less time changing devices and more time moving the customer towards an answer.

03

A practical growth path

You do not need to buy unnecessary capacity on day one. Review the live plan comparison for available number limits, then expand when another branch or team genuinely needs its own connection.

Choose a useful starting point

Give each number a clear purpose

  • Separate sales and support numbers for an online store.
  • Customer enquiries for more than one business location.
  • A service company using distinct lines for different teams.

A little clarity goes a long way

A little more about multiple numbers.

Understand the setup, the costs and the next step before you decide.

01Does every plan support the same number of connections?

No. Number allowances are controlled by the CRM's plan settings. The current pricing comparison is the source for what each plan includes, so choose the package that matches your actual setup.

02Can SAYLS send through a disconnected number?

A disconnected or unrecognised number must be reconnected before it can be used. The selected sender needs valid credentials; the system should not quietly replace it with another business number.

03Will connecting several numbers combine their Meta limits?

No. Meta applies its own eligibility, quality and messaging controls to business accounts and numbers. A CRM workspace does not create a shared unlimited messaging entitlement across your connections.
