The task behind the feature

When the answer is hidden in another tab

A customer should not have to describe an item from memory.

A shopper asks about an item, and the team starts searching the store, copying a link and checking which variation was mentioned. Product messaging brings a supported store search closer to the conversation. It can make the next step clearer, while the store remains the place to confirm the current product offer and complete the purchase.

One practical way to use it

Put the relevant product beside the question.

Start withOne supported item from a connected catalogue
  1. 01

    Connect and synchronise the store

Set up the relevant Shopify or WooCommerce integration and make sure suitable products are available in the CRM. Product messaging needs real synced records; it does not invent a catalogue from an Instagram caption.

  2. 02

    Find the relevant product

Search within the supported Instagram product workflow and check the item matches the customer's question. Review the displayed price and source freshness instead of assuming every previously synced value is still current.

  3. 03

    Send a clear store destination

Share the supported product card in the eligible conversation. Explain why the item is relevant and let the customer review the current store page before deciding whether to buy.

Keep the operational facts connected.

Confirm product information and the eligibility of the account and catalogue setup.

Why this is useful in practice

Help the customer understand the item being discussed.

01

A more concrete recommendation

A product name and useful link give the shopper something they can actually review. This is clearer than a generic answer that leaves them searching through the entire online store.

02

Less manual copying

Staff can use the CRM's supported product search instead of assembling each response from unrelated tabs. The saved effort is useful when several customers ask similar product questions.

03

A connection to your existing store

Keep the catalogue relationship tied to the commerce integration you already manage. The CRM helps the conversation; it does not need to pretend it is a separate checkout for every Instagram purchase.

A little clarity goes a long way

A little more about instagram products.

Understand the setup, the costs and the next step before you decide.

01Do I need a connected store?

Yes. The current product-card search uses supported synced Shopify and WooCommerce products and requires the relevant commerce capability. An empty or disconnected store cannot supply useful product results.

02Does sharing a card guarantee stock or price?

No. The card reflects available synced information. Direct the customer to the current store page and confirm important details when freshness matters, especially for rapidly changing stock or promotions.

03Can I send product cards to any Instagram user?

No. Sending remains subject to the connected account's permissions and Instagram messaging rules. Product tools do not create unrestricted outbound access to arbitrary platform users.
